Hello! I'm an administrator at Crinale.com and we are currently creating a tutorial index. We ask you kindly, may we include this one? You will of course be fully credited and we'll link it back to you.
Thank you for this tut! I have been using Flash for 4 years and I have never been aware about the thickness control feature of the paintbrush>_>. Seeing as I just got a drawing tablet this Christmas, this is really useful.
let me get this straight: you are telling people how to use the BRUSH tool in Flash and dare to call this A TUTORIAL? If somebody cant figure out the BRUSH TOOL I think he also won't be able to install and start Flash. Your next tutorial should be about how to save in Flash because if people can't figure out the brush tool is for drawing they really need a tutorial on how to save their art. Come on man those poor chumps are waiting for your how to save in flash since they figured out how to actually DRAW in Flash- all thanks to your AWESOME and VERY detailed tutorial.
Don't get me wrong though. I think you are a BRILLIANT artist. I've checked out your gallery and it's very overwhelming. In many cases it’s totally not my taste but still I can see you are having fun and you are skilled so that’s a wonderful thing. I don’t have to be ignorant towards art just because I don’t like what it’s about. Anyways your reply made me laugh. You are the first person EVER to talk to me and use the word “sass” which is hilarious. I just thought this is hardly a tutorial and everybody who managed to install Flash will be able to figure out the brush tool is for drawing but whatever. Just keep up doing your own thing and enjoy yourself. Peace
Question: Does that thickness control thing work with Wacom tablets only? I ask that because I had an Aiptek tablet [which I'm not using anymore ], and I have Flash MX, but no thickness control thing D:
I have Flash MX and a Tablet Also (I have a Wacom though) When I installed the driver for the tablet the next time I openned up Flash I saw that there was a thickness control. I don't use it, but it is there.
You must have a steady hand, or quick strokes, or something. I always draw wobbily lines, even with a tablet. Or maybe Flash is better than Photoshop for drawing. I guess I oughta try drawing in Flash now.
