There are several ways to make rain in Photoshop. Here is one of them.

Start with the brush base I have provided up there ^
Copy my image and paste it into photoshop. Select the black rain dash in the white box (make sure theres white around it) and go to
Edit:
Define Brush preset

Then go find your new brush on the bottom of your brush list.

Then edit your brush's behavior in the Brush editing palette.
Enter the settings i've provided up there in the image ^

:) This tut is for people with basic knowledge of brush making in Photoshop. Sorry if it's a little confusing to those unfamiliar with the steps involved.

I can't find the brush editing thingy ><
MWahahaha... so spiffeh! And I believe that you can do the same thing with brushes in PaintShop Pro too! So I'll try that. Excellent tut, short, sweet, to the point. Thank yous!

In that tutorial it has the same "define brush preset" technique and it also points out where the edit thingy place is :D
