Chell, having lived in true society for a couple years after Portal 2's events, returns to the wheat field in a dress, looking for her old friend...the sad part is she's looking in the wrong direction: down. :iconbrokenheartplz:

I'm sorry, I hear the words "wheat field" and I go off on a Portal tangent...I'm sure you'd understand. I saw some Portal fanart in your gallery. Anyone with Portal fanart is a winner in my book ;)

Anyway. This picture is absolutely gorgeous and I love the emotion within it. Her forlorn look just makes it. Amazing job.

“Ah,” said the fox, “I shall cry.”
“It is your own fault,” said the little prince. “I never wished you any sort of
harm; but you wanted me to tame you. . . ”
“Yes, that is so,” said the fox.
“But now you are going to cry!” said the little prince.
“Yes, that is so,” said the fox.
“Then it has done you no good at all!”
“It has done me good,” said the fox, “because of the color of the wheat
fields.”

The little red circles, red sky, and sad face makes it seems like there's a fire somewhere

i love sad girls in pretty clothes. and even though i also love the way you draw light effects and the bright colors you use, this illustration with its muted colors and minimal but precise lighting, is a favotire among favorites.

how do you texturize the skin so well? Is it an option in photoshop or do you use pre-made textures?
